WOW!!! I could not put this book down!
I bought this book because many of my favorite authors and book blogs were supporting the author who has been bullied to the point of removing her presence from social media to protect her family. I am very glad I bought this book.
Colton and Rylee are well written characters. You want to shout at them, cry with them and scream with frustration that these two people cannot seem to get past their pasts. Rylee is trying to get past the tragic death of her first love while battling horrible memories of their car crash and the aftermath of putting her body and her life back together. Colton is media star, hot as sin race car driver with a tortured past who has filled his life with going nowhere relationships that start and end on his terms.
These two meet at a charity function when Rylee gets herself locked in a closet. The worst possible scenario for a claustrophobic. She is rescued by Colton and the fall madly into a passionate kiss that sizzles the page. A battle of whits that ensues, Colton wins round one as he convinces Rylee that he will have a date with her before the end of the evening or he will donate $20,000 to her charity.
These two find themselves intensely attracted to each other while trying not to be. The passion they feel for each other is HOT, the sex is AMAZING and the fights are devastating. Can they figure it out? Find a harmony that lets each heal the scars from their past? Can they finally find the happiness each deserves? Stayed tuned for the second installment in the Driven Trilogy… Fueled.
